Break Even are a hard-working punk/hardcore band from Perth, Western Australia. With an impressive touring history, completing several successful headline tours and supporting bands with the likes of Bane, Have Heart and Parkway Drive, this is a band has always gone from strength to strength.
This was cemented with the release of their highly successful debut album The Bright Side in mid 2009, which subsequently came in at number 2 on Triple J’s ‘Short Fast Loud’ top 100 albums for the year.
In a scene flooded with bands that choose to focus on anger and apathy, Break Even separate themselves from the pack by encouraging the listener to find the bright side in everything, whether it be in life, in dreams, or in loss.
