BIOGRAPHY
In five, ten, fifteen years you're racing through all your old CD’s and you find an Ellington record so you decide to give it one last spin, for memories sake. All of a sudden every moment, good or bad comes flooding back like it was just yesterday. We make music in the hope to make you feel better when things aren’t so good, the soundtrack to your life if you will.
In 2002 Dashboard Confessional played MTV unplugged and while going through high school I was shown a clip of “remember to breathe”. I remember sitting there captivated, this guy was singing to me everything I wanted to say, his lyrics were speaking for me when I couldn’t speak. It felt as though for one reason or another I had to hide away in my room for hours, days, weeks just to find the perfect lyrics, melody and story to convey to whoever it was about, just how bad I felt about the situation or how happy something made me feel.
Two years later we find ourselves with more opportunities and chances than ever before although so many of you will be reading this for the first time without ever having heard of us, I feel like the people we have met, the places we have seen and the songs we have sung have prepared us for whatever comes our way. We would love to spend months on the road touring, driving, late nights and meeting new people. See you on tour!
