In recent years, hip hop the world over has seen a renaissance, artists from across the globe have been leading the charge in transcending the genre from it’s humble roots in the Bronx, Brooklyn.

An artist leading the charge of high energy, codeine inspired story telling, is Chicago based FAT NICK. The 22 year old Peruvian/Greek rapper made a name for himself early on via social media and Soundcloud.

After releasing a slew of singles, NICK dropped his first tape 'Fat Camp' in 2015, followed by his sophomore LP 'When the Lean Runs Out' in 2016, and most recently ‘Brand New’ in 2017 further adding to over 40 million streams on Soundcloud alone and growing the ‘Buffet Boy’s’ name, the collective begun with childhood friend and rapper Pouya.

Today, Destroy All Lines and Chugg Entertainment announce FAT NICK’s debut Australian/NZ tour. Currently working on his debut album and preparing for his first European tour, FAT NICK will be hitting our east coast for 3 exclusive shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Joining him across all three shows will be Australian up and comer JUNOR. Following his time recently DJing with national hip hop artist Ivan Ooze for Peking Duk’s ‘Clowntown Tour’, the mastermind behind SYN FM’s AUD’$ show, JUNOR will showcase his high energy show including his latest single Top Flight which features L.A’s Mann.

If that wasn’t enough, recent Bedlam Records signee and Brisbane based Zimbabwean import, CARMOUFLAGE ROSE will be opening the festivities nationally. Having just released his new single ‘Late Nights’ – which was just added yesterday to Triple J rotation…the new comer has been earmarked as one of the top acts to watch in 2017.
