A strong theme of gender equality and queer inclusiveness can be heard through leading lady Lara Dee’s eloquent songwriting. Lara Dee openly identifies as a member of the lgbtq+ community and strives to establish a safe space for all listeners and support anyone experiencing a similar journey to her own. Cheap Date are aiming to construct through music. Proving that communities can unite not only in a social setting, but a creative one.
