Canadian hardcore punk legends Cancer Bats will return to Australian shores for the first time since 2019 with an eight-date national tour.

The tour will include stops in Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide, and is in support of their latest LP and seventh studio album, 2022's 'Psychic Jailbreak'. The beloved metal stalwarts once again stepped into new territory with the record, writing and recording as a three-piece following the departure of founding member and guitarist Scott Middleton while navigating the global pandemic.

While visiting our shores, Cancer Bats alter egos Bat Sabbath will make exclusive appearances in Sydney and Melbourne in support of 2023's 'Masters Of Duality' EP. Armed with some of the greatest metal songs of all time, Bat Sabbath are ready to fuel beer-soaked orgies of destruction in Australia, with special guests to be announced.  (FANGZ do not appear)

'Psychic Jailbreak' earned the band their sixth JUNO Award nomination and saw extensive tastemaker support from the likes of Metal Hammer (UK), Kerrang! (UK), Exclaim! (CAN), NME, Wall of Sound, HEAVY Mag and Punktastic (UK).

One of the hardest working bands in the industry, Cancer Bats have consistently traversed the globe, performing at international mainstays Download Festival (UK) and Reading and Leeds Festivals (UK), and alongside the likes of Bring Me The Horizon (UK), Alexisonfire (CAN), Thursday (USA), Rise Against (USA), The Bronx (USA), Bullet For My Valentine (UK), Gallows (UK), Comeback Kid (CAN), Pierce the Veil (USA), Everytime I Die (USA), Haste the Day (USA) and Billy Talent (CAN).

Sydney-based party punks FANGZ will join Cancer Bats on their headline shows. The band have traversed the country multiple times, selling out headline shows, performing at festivals and sharing stages with the likes of FIDLAR (USA), Pennywise (USA), RedHook, Comeback Kid (CAN), He Is Legend (USA) and Gyroscope. Their music has been strongly supported by triple j, triple j Unearthed, Triple M, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Metal Hammer (UK), Loudwire (USA), Classic Rock (UK), Metal Injection (USA), Louder Sound (UK), NME, Pilerats, The Guardian, MANIACS, and many more.
