Beartooth frontman Caleb Shomo is the new cover star of Kerrang!, in what stands as one of the most open interviews he's given across the band's near-15-year run.
Speaking ahead of the release of Pure Ecstasy, Shomo discusses the most emotionally transformative period of his life, what it means to make music that is entirely his own, and why the record represents a new chapter for the band.
"This is about me being able to freely express myself in my life, my art, and in my music," Shomo told the magazine.
Pure Ecstasy is out 28 August via Fearless Records. It is Beartooth's sixth album and their first for the label, spanning 11 tracks.
Beartooth will also return to Australia in January 2027 for the Pure Ecstasy tour, joined by Fit For A King and Volumes.
