New Orleans metalcore outfit Cane Hill will play their debut Australian headline show at the Bergy Bandroom in Melbourne on Wednesday, August 19, an exclusive sideshow to their national run with Ocean Grove. Melbourne acts Melting and Soulsleep will open.

Formed in 2011, Cane Hill build towering riffs, soaring melodies and raw heaviness into a sound drawn from metal, alternative and grunge, straddling vulnerability and brutality with themes of identity, addiction and self-destruction running throughout. Three albums sit behind them — 2016's Smile, 2018's Too Far Gone and 2024's A Piece of Me I Never Let You Find — across which the band have pushed steadily into darker and more experimental territory. That restlessness carries into their live show, honed on tours alongside The Plot In You, Sevendust and Killswitch Engage.

The Ocean Grove run marks Cane Hill's first Australian tour in almost a decade, following their 2016 national support slot with Bullet For My Valentine and Atreyu.
