Recent visitors, German Modern Metal outfit UNPROCESSED have announced their new album ‘ANGEL’ due for Halloween release (31st October 2025). The news follows their new video single releases for ‘Solara’ (featuring Zelli from Paleface Swiss) and 'Beyond Heaven's Gate,' both of which are out now.
Their upcoming album Angel, marks another bold step in the band’s creative evolution. Expanding their sonic palette with heavier textures and emotive and intimate lyricism that highlights their poppier side. Angel features high-profile guest appearances from Zelli of Paleface Swiss and Jason Aalon Butler of Letlive and Fever 333. These collaborations add new layers of urgency and intensity to a record that explores themes of conflict, duality, and inner transformation.
The band leans into the process and thought pattern behind creating such an album:
“This album is more than just a record by four boys from Germany - it’s a light shone upon the unknown, like memories from the afterlife. We explored the concept of "Angel" in various ways: becoming an angel through real-life actions, hearing angels serenade, a fallen angel telling his story and becoming the Antichrist, or seeing someone as an angel through glorification. This concept inspired both the music and the lyrics.
While we’re leaning more into a polished metalcore sound, the record still maintains the essence of what makes Unprocessed unique. It features some of the craziest guitar, bass, and drum work we've ever showcased as a band. At the same time, we believe it’s more accessible to the broader metal and metalcore audience, with our strongest and catchiest hooks and melodies to date."
The first released video single ‘Solara’ features Zelli of Paleface Swiss, and combines a fresh industrial yet electronic approach with the signature Unprocessed downtuned riffage. The combined vocal performances of Manuel and Zelli create one of the album’s most striking moments. The track gives Zelli space to explore a different side of his vocal approach, resulting in a dynamic collaboration that is sure to turn heads.
Recently unveiling the powerfully emotive second music video from Angel, 'Beyond Heaven's Gate', the band made the following statement:
"We can believe in things beyond heavens gate - bats communicate with ultrasonic waves, dogs can smell diseases before they break out, cats can see in the night… so wouldn’t it be foolish to think that we can sense everything there is? This song represents a longing for something more than we can see, an answer to our internal questions about life and death. If you wish for it, you can be in touch with those who aren’t physically around anymore, and connect with a world 'Beyond Heaven’s Gate'.
"Musically this may be our catchiest song on the album, with a more active rock approach while staying true to our progressive roots."
Unprocessed have also been announced as main support to Jinjer on their 2026 UK/EU headline tour, with Textures opening.
