I Prevail's The Violent Nature has been absolute fire. The reviews are in

An Arena Worthy Set Up": Inside I Prevail's Relentless 'Violent Nature' Australian Tour

The 'Violent Nature' tour has officially taken over Australia, packing out venues from Perth to Adelaide to Melbourne. Showcasing a masterfully curated lineup of progressive heavy hitters and modern metalcore royalty, this tour is proving to be a masterclass in massive live production and crowd synergy.

Here is how each band on the bill is leaving its mark across the country, according to the local music media.

I Prevail: Clinical Precision, Mass Singalongs, & Pyrotechnics

Touring on the back of their relentless Violent Nature era, I Prevail are treating Australian fans to a sensory-overload arena experience. Between towering stage setups, massive walls of death, unexpected nods to Metallica, and classic Aussie crowd interactions, the Detroit heavyweights are proving exactly why they dominate global stages.

What the Media Said

The drinks flow as much as the flames tower skyward. The riffs reverberate like an airplane taking off. I Prevail have come armed on the back off a new record, Violent Nature, and an arena worthy set up to burn your eyebrows off.

To their credit, the band seem to know this and open with the incendiary Bow Down followed by Self Destruction, all PRS guitar guns blazing through a barrage of flames instantly making you forget what we we are judging again. The stage design has platforms which add to the spectacle as members glide around and the graphics change to at one point looked like the Terminator's eyes. Something that was fitting with how clinical these guys are as Violent Nature has the crowd chant the immortal line

The band embraced the party that was the pit, asking if the standing punters wanted to undertake walls of death or circlepits. Crowd interactions and banter from I Prevail were wholesome they as ripped through the likes of ‘God’, ‘Choke’, and ‘Come and Get It’ before ending their set with a ferocious playthrough of another one of my favourites ‘Gasoline’.

"The intro to Violent Nature started and the pit just got going. Eric claimed it to be one of their heavier songs, which I would totally agree with. Barriers were pushed, arms and legs were in the air and no one cared. Everyone lost their inhibitions and just became their loosest self. There is nothing like a song that just makes everyone lose their shit a little – and this is that song."

Imminence: The Symphonic Metalcore "Wizards"

Sweden's Imminence are completely stealing (some of) the spotlight as a support act. Known for their cinematic blend of heavy breakdowns and classical orchestration, frontman Eddie Berg has been quite literally conducting the mosh pit with his violin bow.

I was impressed by Swedish violin-core band Imminence. Partway through ‘Death By A Thousand Cuts’ I found myself enthusiastically singing along despite never hearing the song before. The band is simply enchanting live, and the violin is not a gimmick nor is it the only factor at play as I might have feared. The interwoven instruments and vocals are delicately executed and overall coalesce to create an epic sense of scale throughout the arena

They may have been a supporting act but there was nothing secondary about Imminence. They put on a damn show. I (and many others) were captivated by their ability to effortlessly nail sounds of delicate violin and powerful guitar solos. Who does that? Imminence does, and they do it so, so well. Invent Animate: Instigating Immediate Chaos

Opening a massive arena-scale room is no easy task, but progressive metalcore pioneers Invent Animate have been driving crowds into a frenzy from the very first chord. Even amidst stormy weather outside the venues, fans have been lining up blocks away just to ensure they don't miss a single note of their atmospheric, earth-shaking tech-metal.

What the Media Said

Like all things from Texas, Invent Animate’s performance felt enormous. Vik twirled and spun across the stage throughout the set. Behind him, the rest of the band matched his intensity and the energy proved contagious as they turned Metro City into a sea of movement almost instantly. By the time they left the stage, Invent Animate accomplished the difficult task of making an opening slot feel like the main event.

The Wrap-Up:

From the front rail to the multi-tiered balconies, the consensus across the Australian music press is absolute: this tour is an unforgettable heavy music experience. With huge singalongs, devastating breakdowns, and unmatched stage production, the Violent Nature Tour is a must-see event.

The Violent Nature Tour delivered exactly what fans crave: crushing heaviness, genuine emotion, and unforgettable live moments.
