As the countdown to LARRY FLEET’s upcoming return to Australia gets louder, a special addition has been made to the Tennessee-born performer’s upcoming run of East Coast shows. Joining Fleet at his headline shows is one of Australia’s most important voices and musical storytellers, TROY CASSAR-DALEY.
Long regarded as one of the country’s most respected performers, Cassar-Daley continues to be a guiding light for new generations of Australian country music artists and fans who discover his music. Holding the record for the most Golden Guitar Award wins of any artist (45 total, with 5 won in 2025), as well as multiple ARIA, NIMA and APRA Song Of The Year awards to name just a few, Cassar-Daley’s career is illustrious, yet the music remains as impactful and grounded as ever.
His fourteenth studio album, Between The Fires, repositioned the proud Gumbaynggirr and Bundjalung artist as one of Australia’s finest musicians; not to mention, one of our hardest-touring.
Cassar-Daley’s addition to Fleet’s Australian tour brings together two of country music’s great storytellers from opposite ends of the globe, ensuring fans leave each headline show with formidable musical memories made.
I'm really looking forward to joining Larry on this Australian tour. It was wonderful to be invited to be part of these shows and have the time to say yes. I've always admired Larry's authentic style and the way his songs connect with people. I actually discovered Larry through one of my cousins at a family get-together. He put on one of Larry's songs and said, 'Have you heard this bloke singing?' I hadn't, but I was an instant fan. The song was’ That's Where I Find God, and I can't wait to hear it live. I'm excited to share some music with Larry's audience and be part of what I'm sure will be a very special run of shows.
Tickets for Fleet’s highly-anticipated Australian tour are selling fast, while his appearance at this year’s GYMPIE MUSIC MUSTER is already generating excitement as one of the sets to watch at the 2026 festival.
Set to bring his acclaimed catalogue, including 2026’s ANOTHER YEAR OLDER record, to Australia this August, Fleet’s soulful and versatile voice is set to reconnect with longtime fans and make new ones alike. Having amassed over 800 million global streams, Fleet’s international fanbase has become bolstered in recent years thanks to sold-out headline shows across the US and beyond – built on a foundation of songwriting that speaks to a natural storytelling talent.
