Spearheaded by four Norwegian and Swedish musicians, Kalandra have captivated the world with their unique blend of melancholic Nordic folk, gritty guitars and ethereal melodies.

This November the group will bring their hauntingly beautiful live show to Australia for the first time. Kalandra promises to be a captivating experience that weaves fragility and fortitude into an immersive sonic journey.

Led by Katrine Stenbekk’s sublime vocals, the band have spent over a decade refining their sound and building a world which has led to them sharing stages with acts like Wardruna, Leprous and Eivor while earning acclaim at festivals such as France's Hellfest and Norway’s Midgardsblot.

Kalandra’s recently released second album, A Frame of Mind, showcases their evolution with expansive songwriting that explores belonging, memory and resilience. Described as “an introspective journey about life’s experiences and how they shape the way we perceive the world,” it ranges from delicate acoustics in “I Am” to the metallic crescendo of “Are You Ready?” and the cinematic swells of “Segla.”

After the success of their 2020 debut The Line, being featured on the soundtrack to the Kingdom Two Crowns: Norse Lands video game and a a viral cover of Wardruna’s“ Helvegen” nearing 6 million YouTube views, Kalandra’s debut tour is a moment not to be missed.

Australian crowds will witness a dynamic performance rooted in Norse folk, progressive rock and Scandic pop delivered with an intensity that’s both intimate and vast that will undoubtedly be heralded as the years most transformative experience.
