Following the release of their latest album, Act III, which secured their eighth UK #1 last month, Kasabian have announced their return to Australia next year. The band will bring their distinct brand of electro-indie-rock sound to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion and Perth HPC, alongside appearances at Electric Avenue in Christchurch, On The Banks in Brisbane and Palace Foreshore in Melbourne.

Having recently played to 45,000 people in London’s Finsbury Park, the band will perform a career-spanning set including  cult classics like “Fire”, “Underdog”, “Shoot The Runner”, “You’re in Love with a Psycho” and “Clubfoot”.

Known for their electrifying live performances, Kasabian’s infectious high-energy and guitar anthems have garnered praise including “a fearsome live act.” (The Guardian), Cherry Rock Magazine stating “Kasabian’s gigs are as dynamic as ever”  and Louder Than War imploring “If you get the chance to go and watch Kasabian - GO”

Released in September and hitting #1 on the UK charts, Act III has the usual kaleidoscopic range of influences you might expect from Kasabian. The trademark anthemic singalong choruses, the big, distorted basslines and raw energy, peppered with inspiration from hip hop and 60s psychedelia.

Forming in 1997 in Leicester UK, Kasabian are one of the biggest names in British alternative rock. With 8 UK number one albums under their belt, the band have sold over 5.5 million albums worldwide and won multiple NME Awards, Q Awards and a BRIT Award. Impressing fans all over the world with their live shows and festival performances, Kasabian have also headlined Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds Festival, V Festival and T In The Park.

Launching onto the scene in 2004 with their debut self-titled album Kasabian, the rockers have since released eight more studio albums to great acclaim, including Empire (2006), West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (2009), Velociraptor! (2011), 48:13 (2014), For Crying Out Loud (2017), The Alchemist's Euphoria (2022), which was the first full album with songwriter Serge Pizzorno moving from guitarist to frontman, Happenings (2024) and Act III (2026).

Don’t miss Kasabian - one of the most compelling live acts in contemporary rock.
