This February, Tokyo's Survive Said The Prophet finally make their Australian debut after a long 15 year wait, bringing their explosive live show to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane for three intimate headline shows.
‍
Known throughout Japan simply as Sabapuro, Survive Said The Prophet have spent more than a decade turning stages into their natural habitat. Big hooks, crushing guitars, electronic textures and the bilingual vocals of frontman Yosh collide in a live show built for absolute audience participation.

This isn't a band that fits neatly into one corner of heavy music. Formed in Tokyo in 2011, Survive Said The Prophet pull from post-hardcore, alternative rock, pop, electronic music, hip hop and R&B, creating songs that move from soaring melody to devastating heaviness without warning. It has taken them from clubs across Japan to stages around the world, building an international audience through a relentless touring schedule and a reputation strengthened with every show.
‍
The band first landed on people’s radars via Mukanjyo, the opening theme to acclaimed anime series Vinland Saga, however, discovering Survive Said The Prophet through a screen and experiencing them live are two very different things.
‍
Survive Said The Prophet recently pushed their sound even further. 2025 album Luv Sux Sessions included collaborations with Matt Good of From First To Last on State Of Mind and Ryo Kinoshita of Knosis on Useless, while 2026 has already delivered further new music including Speak of the Devil feat. Masato and Hollow featuring Jean-Ken Johnny from MAN WITH A MISSION.
‍
Their reach has since taken them throughout North America, Europe and the UK, including appearances at Download Festival, Rock am Ring, Rock im Park and Rock for People. Now, it's Australia's turn and for their first visit, they're not testing the waters from the safety of a festival stage, they're heading straight for venues where it will be up close and personal.
