The vision of vianova came to life when the brothers Felix and Paul Vogelgesang decided to move to Berlin in 2014. Driven by the desire to create music and evoke emotions, they aspired to write nothing but authentic and energetic metal songs. Between 2015 and 2019 the formation released a five-track EP and two singles, played an array of shows throughout Germany and managed to handle a couple of line-up changes. During the 2020 pandemic, the band reinvented themselves both visually and musically, and in 2024 vianova signed with label powerhouse Arising Empire.

Now a meeting point between metalcore, elasticated 80s vibes, jazz, R&B and rap, vianova straddle hard-hitting immersion with a fearless pursuit of genre fusion. With over 19.1 million streams across their catalogue to date and counting, vianova’s viral trajectory has led to them enamouring TikTok and sharing stages with Thornhill, ERRA, Chamber and many more.
